NeighborWorks Dakota Home Resources Kid Weird Event provide donation to Food Bank

November 15, 2010- NeighborWorks Dakota Home Resources annual Kid Weird Event collected and delivered over ten pounds of canned goods and a monetary donation of $64 for the Lord’s Cupboard.
Kid Weird is a free annual Halloween event for the community to come and enjoy. In return NeighborWorks Dakota Home Resources asked that attendees donate canned food or monetary donation to help stock our local food pantry.
NeighborWorks Community Coordinator Sharon Martinisko stated “It is great to be able to bring folks together for a fun even, while helping our neighbors in need.
The Lords Cupboard accepts donations Monday from 9am-11:30am and Thursday from 3pm-5:30pm.
NeighborWorks Dakota Home Resources would like to thank all of the volunteers and sponsors that made Kid Weird a successful event and thank all of the attendees that brought donations for the Lord’s Cupboard.
